KPMG Hires 3 New Partners in L.A. Office May 6, 2008 (SmartPros) KPMG LLP announced that Tammy DeGrande, Troy Dahlberg and Doug Farrow joined the firm's Los Angeles office as partners. DeGrande joins KPMG as a partner in the firm's Tax practice. In this role, she will help serve existing clients and further build relationships with companies in Los Angeles and the Western area, focusing on large multi-national organizations. DeGrande has significant experience in tax accounting. Prior to joining KPMG, DeGrande was a partner at another Big Four firm, serving as the engagement partner on large multi-national organizations and specializing in a full range of services relating to tax accounting. DeGrande is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She holds a B.A. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from Seattle University and a M.A. in Tax from Golden Gate University. Troy Dahlberg joins KPMG as a partner in the Investigative & Integrity Advisory service line of the firm's Forensic practice. He will focus on complex financial accounting investigations, economic damage quantifications, and merger and acquisition disputes. He specializes in financial reporting and forensic accounting. Prior to joining KPMG, Dahlberg served as a managing director and national practice leader for Kroll's Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting practice in Los Angeles. Dahlberg has also served as partner in charge of Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting practice in the Pacific Southwest region at another Big Four. Dahlberg is a CPA, and attorney in the State of California. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from the Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles. Douglas Farrow rejoins KPMG as a partner in the Investigative & Integrity Advisory service line of the firm's Forensic practice. He assists corporations, government agencies, attorneys, and their clients with a wide range of financial, economic, and accounting matters. Before joining Kroll, Farrow was a partner at KPMG. Farrow holds a B.A. in Economics from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. He is a CPA in California and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
