Top Speakers Highlight New York CPA Show May 6, 2008 (SmartPros) Tracy Byrnes from Fox Business News and Mike Minto, an IRS special agent, are two of the featured speakers at the New York CPA Business & Technology Show & Conference on May 14 and 15 at the New York Hilton Hotel. Byrnes and Minto will discuss how technology has had a direct effect on the volatility of the stock market and money laundering and the use of anabolic steroids in sports. Hosted by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and its Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) the Show is the largest annual meeting of CPAs and accounting and business executives in New York State, and features an exhibit floor with companies in the information technology, computer services, banking, publishing and insurance fields. Attendees can earn continuing professional educational credits with 16 sessions covering technology, tax, auditing and ethics topics.
